Many times players will find on the Internet articles telling them how to cheat in order to win the lottery a big prize. This is naturally only an expression or a way to say that there are methods that allegedly increase your winning chances. However that is not really cheating. There is no criminal intent and it is just theories people use in order to reason for themselves why pick this or that number.
A lottery game is actually a way for any authority to raise money for any projects that otherwise would need to get their funding from tax money. Since most authorities will try to avoid raising the taxes they require from their citizens, lottery is a nice way to convince the public to give out money for the possibility of winning a big prize. The answer to that is very simple, each time prior to banning lotteries a system was employed to ensure the winnings of their users or there were frauds involved causing national scandals.
